Description

Morro Dois Irmãos has one of the most incredible views in Rio de Janeiro, completing the landscape of the South Zone coastline with a beauty that has earned it the title of Rio's postcard image. The hill starts with a motorcycle taxi ride up to the field at the trailhead, which can be enjoyed up close via a trail that begins in the Vidigal community and ends at the top of the 'big brother.' It is a 1.5 km route that takes 40 minutes, with some steep sections and others that are not so steep. When you reach the summit, you can see the entire South Zone of Rio, its beaches, and paths drawn in neighborhoods such as Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Christ the Redeemer, and the splendid Atlantic Ocean.
