Description

Embark on a guided hike through Tijuca National Park to see the Taunay Waterfall, Cachoeira das Almas, and the Cristalina and Baronesa waterfalls. Discover the Belmiro, Archer, and Bats Caves, and take a dip in the refreshing waters of the waterfalls. Meet your guide at Alto da Boa Vista and enter Tijuca National Park. Admire the stunning view of the Taunay Waterfall, the most famous cascade in the park with its 35m free fall beauty. Hike through beautiful trails, discovering historical places surrounded by the impressive vegetation of the rainforest that create the stunning scenery of the park. Stop at Cachoeira das Almas to take a shower under its fall. Pass by the Floresta restaurant, a historical building, to hit the Caves Trail and discover the Belmiro, Archer, and Bats Caves, being surprised by huge rocks and granite walls along this part of the forest. After visiting the caves, stop at the Cristalina and Baronesa waterfalls to freshen up. Hike back on a different path, allowing time to visit the Gabriela fall where you can relax, have a snack, and enjoy the place.
