Description

Experience Rio de Janeiro at its most beautiful time of day on an early-morning tour combining sunrise views from Dona Marta Lookout with a visit to the iconic Christ the Redeemer. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are included for a smooth and convenient experience.

Begin your day with an early hotel pick-up and head to Dona Marta Lookout before dawn. Arrive while the city is still waking up and watch the first light appear over Rio, with panoramic views of the coastline, mountains and some of the city’s most famous landmarks.

After sunrise, continue to Christ the Redeemer, taking advantage of the early morning to visit one of Rio’s most iconic attractions. Enjoy the incredible views from the top and learn about the monument and its historical and cultural significance from your guide.

Light Morning Snack

As there are no cafés open at the viewpoint at sunrise, the standard tour includes a light morning snack with fresh coffee, fruit, a simple sandwich and water.

Please note: this is a light snack, not a full breakfast. Many guests prefer this option because the standard tour usually has you back at your hotel by approximately 9:30 AM, allowing you to enjoy the breakfast already offered by your hotel.

Full Breakfast Option

Prefer a more complete breakfast? Select our Full Breakfast option and, after visiting Christ the Redeemer, enjoy a full sit-down breakfast at a selected local venue, with coffee, fresh juice and a selection of breakfast items.

This option is perfect for guests who prefer to relax and enjoy a proper breakfast before returning to their hotel. Please note that choosing the Full Breakfast option means a later hotel return time than the standard tour.

Everything You Need to Know Before the Tour

This is a sunrise experience with a very early hotel pick-up. Please be ready at the confirmed time, as delays can affect the entire group.

Dona Marta is one of Rio’s most popular sunrise photography spots and can sometimes be busy, especially after rainy days or periods when weather conditions have limited sunrise opportunities. You may see photographers, lights and other groups taking pictures. The atmosphere is lively and photography-oriented, making it a great opportunity to capture memorable photos of Rio at sunrise.

Tour duration may vary slightly depending on traffic, weather conditions and group flow. Pick-ups are shared, so brief waits may occur while collecting other guests.

Your driver may not speak English; however, the bilingual guide will provide all tour information, assistance and explanations throughout the experience.
