Hike to the top of the Telégrafo Rock for stunning views and unforgettable photos. Join a guided hike through the hills and forest of the rainforest. See stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and this amazing coastline's beaches. Start your tour with pickup from your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the area where the hike takes around 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at Guaratiba neighborhood, have an optional stop for a quick breakfast. Once you start to walk and enter the Parque Estadual da Pedra Branca (White Stone State Park), walk a 1.5 kilometers uphill trail covered by canopy and surrounded by rainforest. The trail presents you with great viewpoints of the area. From the top, see the village, the sea, mangroves, and famous places such as the Restinga de Marambaia, a natural and protected sandbank. On clear days, spot even Ilha Grande, a known touristic destination of Rio de Janeiro. At the end of the hike, on Telegrafo rock (354 altitude), your reward is a unique view from the Rio de Janeiro landscape, the coastline with amazing beaches and mountains as far as the eye can see. Perfect spot for the perfect picture. After the hike, have an optional 30-minute stop by the beach. Choose together with your guide: Grumari, Prainha, Reserva, Barra da Tijuca beach.
