Description

We'll start the day by leaving the wonderful city early and heading straight to the Pedra do Cão Sentado park, a landmark of the city of Nova Friburgo. The trip takes about 3 hours. Get ready for a trail full of beautiful natural attractions from start to finish: caves, grottos and beautiful trees balancing on huge rocks! This is certainly a trail that will stay with you forever. The climb is intense, but it alternates with gentler stretches that, along with the attractions we'll explore along the way, make the 60-minute trail enjoyable, with several stops for photos. When we reach the top, we'll stop for about 1 hour, not only to recharge our batteries and rest, but also to admire the splendid view of Pedra do Cão Sentado. The descent is easy and we'll have another chance to take photos to reinforce the memories of the beautiful landscapes of this unique trail. After our adventure in the middle of nature, you'll certainly be hungry, so we'll stop for lunch. Right after lunch, we'll learn about one of the local agricultural specialties: strawberry production. You've probably never eaten one like it! If you want, you can even try picking some strawberries and take some home with you to have a tasty souvenir of your trip! To end the day, we'll visit Casa Suíça to learn a little about the history of the city's first residents and, of course, have the chance to taste typical cheeses and chocolates.
