Full-Day City Sightseeing Tour (If option selected)
Start your day with a visit to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue on top of Corcovado Mountain. You’ll ride through the lush Tijuca Forest in a comfortable vehicle or train, enjoying beautiful nature and city views on the way. Once at the top, you’ll take in breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro.
Next, head to the charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa, known for its historic houses, artistic vibe, and narrow winding streets. It’s a great place to see the local culture and maybe grab a coffee or a small snack.
After exploring, enjoy a delicious Brazilian lunch, often featuring feijoada, a traditional black bean and meat stew. Restaurants here often offer buffets or a la carte meals with great local flavors.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Selarón Steps (Escadaria Selarón), a colorful staircase decorated with tiles from all over the world. It's a perfect spot for photos and learning about Rio’s street art culture.
