Embark on a three-hour journey through 33 of Brazil's tastiest flavors, from meats to fruits to snacks to street food. Your goal: figure out what you like and what you don't, so you can double down on your favorite foods during your stay in Rio, and maybe even bring back some food items. First, make your own caipirinhas in a culinary studio while you taste a dozen Brazilian foods. Then, with your Brazilian food expert leading the way, visit a few different types of food establishments, so you can get an idea of what you might like in each of them. Visit a snack bar to taste a few street food items, a juice bar for tropical fruit juices, a bakery for Brazilian delicatessen items, and a 'butequim' for Brazilian bar foods. Walk between these places, which should be almost a mile altogether. Your food expert will provide insights into each food item's origin, uniqueness, and preparation, so you can better appreciate the flavors and ingredients.
