Favela Tour Guide - Rio de Janeiro (Instagram: @favelatourguide) The tour of Brazil's largest favela, Rocinha, is an authentic and educational experience, where visitors learn about the daily life, culture, and challenges of this community with local guides who were born and raised there. The visit also includes viewpoints with breathtaking views and the opportunity to experience local social projects and understand the extent of their positive impact on the lives of residents. Meeting point: São Conrado metro station (Access A - Rocinha exit) The itinerary includes the following stops: - Motorcycle taxi ride uphill; - Laboriaux viewpoint; - Novo Visual restaurant/viewpoint; - Cultural attraction with capoeira; - Immersion in alleys and lanes; - 360° view from a rooftop in the middle of the community; - Rocinha street market.
