Explore Vidigal, Rio’s most famous favela, known for its amazing ocean views and friendly atmosphere. This walking tour, led by a licensed local guide who has worked in Vidigal for many years, will show you the best of the neighborhood after hiking the beautiful Dois Irmãos trail. To start, we’ll take a moto-taxi to the top of Vidigal. Don’t worry if it’s your first time on a moto-taxi; we can ask the driver to go slowly so you feel safe. The hike to the Dois Irmãos summit takes about one hour, and the views from the top are some of the best in Rio! After enjoying the views, we’ll walk down through Vidigal’s colorful streets. This takes about 40 minutes, and along the way, we’ll see street art, visit local craft stalls, and learn about projects that help the community. We’ll also stop at hidden viewpoints, local restaurants and bars, and lively spots that make Vidigal so special. This tour is a fun and safe way to experience Vidigal’s beauty, culture, and energy. It’s perfect for adventurers, art lovers, or anyone curious to see Rio from a new perspective. Please note: All fees of this tour are already included on the price paid (Moto taxi fee, Favela visitor fee, Entrance of the hike fee, and a donation to the local school as well - During easter time we will be donating one chocolate box per visitor to the school to be delivered to their kids on easter day!)
