Description

Depart Rio de Janeiro and admire the stunning landscapes of Angra dos Reis and some of the 2,000 beaches along the awe-inspiring coast from Rio de Janeiro. Head towards Ilha Grande ('Big Island') to experience the crystal-clear waters of the most famous of the 365 islands surrounding the bay. Along the way, travel through the Costa Verde region by bus, and arrive in the city of Angra dos Reis approximately 3 hours after departing Rio de Janeiro. Go straight to the port to board a schooner and set sail to a tropical paradise that is perfect for activities such as hiking and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. Get beautiful views as you cross the water. Go to the natural aquarium of Lagoa Azul and discover one of the finest diving spots on the island. Look to the bottom of the transparent water to see a collection of live sea stars, along with shoals of colorful fish, squid and beautiful corals. Don't forget to bring your swimming costume! Visit two espectacular beach, where many tourists go in the high season to top up their tan and swim in the sea. Then, journey back to Rio de Janeiro for drop off at a pre-determined location.
