This 1.5 km uphill hike is considered moderate, with approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour of walking uphill through the mountain forest.
Start early in the morning with the sunrise experience or choose a later time to let yourself sleep in. Meet in the lively Vidigal area and hop on a moto-taxi for a thrilling ride through this bustling area. Arrive at the trailhead and begin your guided walk.
Explore a beautiful forest trail for about an hour to reach the top of Morro Dois Irmãos. Enjoy the city’s most stunning sunrise view or exceptional daytime views from the peak.
After the hike, savor a local breakfast in Vidigal (optional and super cheap). It is the perfect way to experience Rio’s natural beauty and vibrant culture!
