Description

Discover the highlights of Rio de Janeiro on a full-day sightseeing tour, with your choice of transportation options. Benefit from pickup at your hotel in the South Zone, and then journey past the beaches of Leblon and Ipanema. Cross the Santa Barbara tunnel to take a panoramic tour of the downtown area and see the Sambodrome and Metropolitan Cathedral. Make your way to Urca to board the cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain in 2 stages. Look across Guanabara Bay and its islands and see landmark monuments such as the Rio-Niterói Bridge. Next, enjoy a traditional all-you-can-eat barbecue lunch of typical churrascarias or tasty vegetarian options.  Continue to Corcovado Mountain by van and visit the Selaron Steps, or catch the train from Cosme Velho station in Laranjeiras and make a visit to the Maracanã Stadium, depending on option booked. Travel through the dense Tijuca rainforest to reach the amazing Christ the Redeemer Statue, where panoramic views await at the summit.
