Description
Are you ready? Let's go!
We will meet you at your accommodation, from where we will take transportation, or directly at Lage Park.
At the appointed time, we will set off on the path to the statue. During the excursion, we will stop to admire the plants and animals we are lucky enough to encounter, always without disturbing their habitat.
About halfway there, we will take a short break and have a snack and some water. It will take us approximately 1 hour to reach the Christ the Redeemer monument. During this last stretch, we will stop at the viewpoints and see the figure of Christ from different angles.
And we'll arrive at Christ the Redeemer! Once we've passed the entrance, we'll climb some stairs and, if you like, we'll take a group photo to celebrate.
The excursion includes the return walk. You can stay at Christ the Redeemer for as long as you like, and when you've finished enjoying the views, we'll walk back down to Parque Large.
Note: if you want to stay for lunch (there is a tourist restaurant) or don't want to walk back down, you can buy a train ticket directly at the ticket office.
Includes
Tickets to Christ the Redeemer.
Snacks for the walk: chocolate, paçoca and peanuts.
Important Information
- This activity is not recommended for people who are not used to walking. I recommend doing this outing in the morning. The duration of the walk is between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending on the pace of the group. Optionally, you can book the train for the descent, subject to an additional cost.
