Description
The tour begins inside the Tijuca National Park; from Paineiras we walk towards Christ the Redeemer, approximately 1 hour uphill. You can stay at the monument for as long as you like (no time limit). During the climb, we are likely to encounter some animals in their natural habitat; the place itself is quite safe and is guarded by security guards.
At the end of the tour, we will drink water from the fountain, YES, real water, pure spring water, one of the few places in the world where you can experience this. Afterwards, we will board the transport that will take us back to the city of Rio de Janeiro. The meeting point is at Largo do Machado Square.
The vans we use to get there and back are the official Corcovado vans.
